Spectators: 7316 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Svante Edström started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sibbhult RK's Rudolf Harman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vännäs BF were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Sibbhult RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yngve Berggren took the corner. If Elias Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Vännäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Hedbom came free, but Wilhelm Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Peter Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Marcus Hylander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vännäs BF's Wilhelm Valler didn't even have to move. Malcolm Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sibbhult RK's Sven-Ove Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sibbhult RK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sibbhult RK booed when Vännäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Svante Edström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Ove Lundgren. Svante Edström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Elias Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Sibbhult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Edström came free, but Sven-Ove Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Molin took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Ove Lundgren. Sven-Ove Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Hedbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stellan Hök hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Frans Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Nyman's late challenge caught a Vännäs BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Herbert Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3-0 became the score in the 68th minute when Svante Edström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Frans Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Valler having to interfere. Svante Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sven-Ove Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Harman kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Sibbhult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Molin came free, but Sven-Ove Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sven-Ove Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Sibbhult RK got a freekick which was hit by Erling Bergqvist. Sven-Ove Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Molin in the 87th minute of play. Svante Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sven-Ove Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Svante Edström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sibbhult RK's Sven-Ove Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Edström in the 95th minute of play. Elias Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Lundgren having to interfere.
