If Karl-Axel Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Åke Fridlund came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Forsheda IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Fridlund couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Åke Fridlund made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Axel Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tobias Siöberg stood somewhat misplaced when Åke Fridlund came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 86 minute. In the 93rd minute, Arvid Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Karl-Axel Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Forsheda IFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hudiksvall throughout the match.
