Spectators: 7247 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 105) In the 4th minute, Skattkärr's Tommy Persson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gösta Örn. Gösta Örn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tommy Persson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gösta Örn made a huge save. Åke Borre struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Leif Bruhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kronofogden FC. Leif Bruhn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Jansson's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Borre in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Bruhn saved Skattkärr from getting behind. After having played for 13 minutes, Tommy Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skattkärr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kronofogden FC's zone, John Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Örn came out of the goal and John Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kronofogden FC's goalkeeper Gösta Örn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leif Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Håkan Sandell thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Leif Bruhn, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Borre in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Bruhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bengt-Arne Kilman fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skattkärr's protests and gave Bengt-Arne Kilman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Bengt-Arne Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Jansson in the 29th minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kronofogden FC booed when Skattkärr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kronofogden FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Skattkärr's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sten Britz took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Bengt-Rune Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kronofogden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Rune Jansson couldn't finish the play. Åke Borre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leif Bruhn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Jansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Leif Bruhn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute Boris Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Persson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gösta Örn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Persson ran back to his position shaking his head. John Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Örn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bengt-Rune Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
