When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Melker Walmarsson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rolf Carlsson. If Edmund Thidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Odén made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Björn Lindkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ableton FA's goalkeeper Rolf Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ableton FA's zone, Edmund Thidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Carlsson came out of the goal and Edmund Thidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes, Vallda RK's Karl-Michael Sjödin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolf Carlsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vallda RK reached it. If Melker Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, one of Ableton FA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vallda RK a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Michael Sjödin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ableton FA's Rolf Carlsson. 0-2. The Vallda RK fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Vallda RK's Edmund Thidén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmund Thidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Carlsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ableton FA's Mats Ahlerot got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Thidén in the 43rd minute of play forced Ableton FA's goalkeeper Rolf Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gottfrid Hermansson fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ableton FA's protests and gave Gottfrid Hermansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ableton FA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gottfrid Hermansson hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Ableton FA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. When Vallda RK's Edmund Thidén in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ableton FA's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melker Walmarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmund Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rolf Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vallda RK's attack was well implemented in the 56th minute, but when Edmund Thidén was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Melker Walmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Vallda RK's Edmund Thidén stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Rolf Carlsson stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Ableton FA of the goal. Ableton FA's Björn Lindkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Edmund Thidén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallda RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Thidén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Carlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolf Carlsson was a little too slow when Melker Walmarsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-5. Rolf Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Walmarsson in the 90th minute of play. Roger Odén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lindkvist in the 91st minute of play. Edmund Thidén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolf Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Ableton FA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vallda RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
