The supporters of Ableton FA booed when Gunnebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torgny Hagström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Lindkvist in the 11th minute. A collision led to Gunnebo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edmund Benet hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Albin Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Lindkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Hagström having to interfere. Tage Högström might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torgny Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tage Högström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Edmund Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Gunnebo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tage Högström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Albin Norberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Carlsson. Ableton FA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albin Norberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morgan Hernström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gottfrid Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ableton FA's goalkeeper Rolf Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Norberg. Torgny Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lindkvist in the 63rd minute of play. Rolf Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Hernström in the 85th minute of the match. Tage Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnebo's zone, Björn Lindkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Hagström came out of the goal and Björn Lindkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tage Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tage Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Torgny Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
