Björn Lindkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Morgan Falck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rolf Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Granström in the 18th minute of the match. Ableton FA's Björn Lindkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Ableton FA's Tage Högström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Falck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, one of IFK Vänersborg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for IFK Vänersborg. The referee gave Ableton FA a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Jonsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of IFK Vänersborg's Morgan Falck. 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Rudolf Granström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Vänersborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Granström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Pihlblad kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, IFK Vänersborg's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Högström came free, but Morgan Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viggo Östensson lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The wind increased when Tage Högström made the kick off in the second half. Morgan Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lindkvist in the 54th minute of play. Björn Lindkvist took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morgan Falck. Morgan Falck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Björn Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tage Högström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Falck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 79th minute, Esbjörn Wiklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
