Reine Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Mårtensson in the 14th minute of the match. Örjan Malmberg took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Olof Holmberg. Per-Olof Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Holger Albäck charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Albäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Holger Albäck kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Kopparberg MK's Per-Olof Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Malmberg in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Kopparberg MK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Skerikes Hjältar. Mårten Olofsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Per-Olof Holmberg. 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Kopparberg MK's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Gabrielsson came free, but Per-Olof Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Sigvard Gabrielsson made a precise shot to the right of Per-Olof Holmberg. Kopparberg MK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skerikes Hjältar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nils-Erik Ahlquist was slow to take the kick. During this time Kopparberg MK's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Marcus Kalfhage advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-3 in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Kopparberg MK's Joel Ahlerot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reine Pihlblad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Skerikes Hjältar's Per-Olof Holmberg threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Örjan Malmberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Joel Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reine Pihlblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ahlerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes in the game, Örjan Malmberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Per-Olof Holmberg having to interfere. Per-Olof Holmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvard Gabrielsson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Skerikes Hjältar's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ahlerot came free, but Reine Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Karl Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopparberg MK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Karl Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Skerikes Hjältar echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kopparberg MK had held the ball for most of the match.
