Pontus Berglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gösta Wallgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pontus Berglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristoffer Westerstrand made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Lars-Erik Wall sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morgan Granqvist in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Wallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ariane Z's Viktor Lundin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Morgan Granqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Ariane Z's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Granqvist came free, but Gösta Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rickard Clementsson made the kick off in the second half. Gösta Wallgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axel Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Morgan Granqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gösta Wallgren made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Morgan Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsta United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Granqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joakim Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andréas Olofsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gösta Wallgren. Ariane Z's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Björn Hansson's late challenge caught a Balsta United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ariane Z's Björn Hansson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Balsta United's Emil Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars-Erik Wall scored 1-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristoffer Westerstrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gösta Wallgren made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Rune Vallengren sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ariane Z could leave the field as winners, despite Balsta United having more of the ball for most of the match.
