Gösta Wallgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandhem IF. Bo-Erik Ahlrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gösta Wallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariane Z's Stig-Ove Hansson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kjell-Arne Lindman but with some difficulty. In the 15th minute, Elliott Juhlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandhem IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Clementsson in the 19th minute of play forced Sandhem IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Lindman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo-Erik Ahlrot took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gösta Wallgren. Gösta Wallgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Sandhem IF's Elliott Juhlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Wallgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Björn Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ariane Z's protests and gave Björn Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Björn Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandhem IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wiktor Lustig in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Sandhem IF's corner Nils-Åke Sandström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gösta Wallgren quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Clementsson to make the kick off. Kjell-Arne Lindman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Wall in the 53rd minute of play. Bo-Erik Ahlrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Wallgren having to interfere. If Rickard Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Lindman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell-Arne Lindman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Clementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Lars-Erik Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Clementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kjell-Arne Lindman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Juhlin in the 93rd minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Lindman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars-Erik Wall went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Ariane Z supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sandhem IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Sandhem IF.
