Tyresö Brevik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Vallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evert Vallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gilbert Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Odin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Ahlbeck in the 14th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Tyresö Brevik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Joensson came free, but Magnus Odin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Brander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilbert Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Tyresö Brevik FC's Robin Hedlund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Tyresö Brevik FC booed when Hisingens Hunkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Häll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Stenquist charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Stenquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernt Stenquist hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Ahlbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Magnus Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Torbjörn Ahlbeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Odin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Ahlbeck ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjörn Ahlbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Odin having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Hisingens Hunkar's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Brander came free, but Gilbert Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Friberger having to interfere. Torbjörn Ahlbeck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Magnus Odin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 75 minutes into the match, Tyresö Brevik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Ahlbeck came free, but Magnus Odin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melker Joensson got free with Magnus Odin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Vallgren in the 82nd minute of play forced Hisingens Hunkar's goalkeeper Gilbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hisingens Hunkar getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Krister Söderquist hit a great ball. If Carl Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyresö Brevik FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
