With a little luck, Järbo BF's Per-Erik Nilsson got control of the ball when Marcus Alin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Flyers's Marcus Alin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per-Erik Nilsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Hääger during the 18th minute. In the 40th minute, Flyers's Robin Hedlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Per-Erik Nilsson. Per-Erik Nilsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 44 played minutes Flyers got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Bure. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nils-Emil Bivall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Erik Nilsson. Järbo BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thomas Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Per-Erik Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Järbo BF's Per-Erik Nilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Alin in the 62nd minute of play. Thor Strandberg's late challenge caught a Flyers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Järbo BF's Per-Erik Nilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Alin in the 91st minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flyers fully deserved thier win.
