Thomas Bure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Holm having to interfere. Thomas Bure received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustav Holm came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Bure slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Rudolf Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anton Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tikitaka's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, FC Tikitaka's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bure came free, but Gustav Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Anton Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tikitaka's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Alin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Gustav Holm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thomas Bure might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Holm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Bure ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcus Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Fågel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Nyström went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Robin Hedlund notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Tikitaka's Gustav Holm. Gustav Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gösta Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Åkesson's late challenge caught a Flyers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Åkesson helped the player get up and apologised. Gustav Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bure in the 55th minute of play. Gustav Holm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Bure's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Anton Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tikitaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rudolf Fågel made a huge save. After 66 played minutes FC Tikitaka got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Sandwall. Thomas Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gustav Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flyers's Rudolf Fågel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Flyers from getting a goal against them. After having played for 81 minutes, Thomas Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flyers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Bure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Hedlund hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Anton Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Alin in the 95th minute of play forced FC Tikitaka's goalkeeper Gustav Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Tikitaka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flyers.
