Örjan Larsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Christoffersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Larsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Romelanda FF booed when Skebobruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christer Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Jim Mikaelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romelanda FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skebobruk the free kick. The supporters of Skebobruk booed when Romelanda FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Mikaelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Romelanda FF's Sven-Edvin Sundin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Christoffersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Örjan Larsson made the kick off in the second half. If Christer Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Romelanda FF's zone, Christer Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Andreasson came out of the goal and Christer Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Andreasson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skebobruk's Mark Lind got a free kick in the 68th minute. Christer Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Skebobruk's Kjell Josefsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sten Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 79 minutes into the match, Romelanda FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Josefsson came free, but Sten Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes, Skebobruk's Bo Albom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sten Andreasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Romelanda FF booed when Skebobruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hjelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Josefsson in the 96th minute of play forced Romelanda FF's goalkeeper Sten Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Romelanda FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
