Pelle Drake took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joacim Friberger. Joacim Friberger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Åsljunga IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Offerdal:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kaj Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Offerdal's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaj Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Friberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pelle Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Friberger having to interfere. If Kaj Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tobias Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Offerdal's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Sandström came free, but Olle Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kjell Stenkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Åsljunga IK's Tobias Sandström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olle Lang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ingvar Bergfeldt's late challenge caught a Offerdal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Bergfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. Ingvar Bergfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Tobias Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsljunga IK's protests and gave Tobias Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Åsljunga IK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tobias Sandström hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Offerdal were awarded a corner. Nils Skytt went to the cornerflag to take it. Manfred Samuelsson made a great header on Offerdal's corner, it was just that Åsljunga IK's Joacim Friberger managed to reach the ball for a save. 40 minutes into the match, Åsljunga IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Berggren came free, but Joacim Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Kjell Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joacim Friberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelle Drake in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nils Skytt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åsljunga IK's Joacim Friberger didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Offerdal's zone, Tobias Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Lang came out of the goal and Tobias Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Offerdal's goalkeeper Olle Lang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Sandström. Tobias Sandström scored 3-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Lang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Sandström got free with Olle Lang in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joacim Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Drake in the 86th minute of play. Pelle Drake struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Joacim Friberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Offerdal.
