George Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Malmström in the 9th minute of play. Christer Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Åsljunga IK's George Christoffersson threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kasper Malmström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mark Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, George Christoffersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kasper Malmström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match Georg Mager sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joacim Friberger skillfully saved the ball. If Kjell Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Åsljunga IK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Ek came free, but Joacim Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Kjell Josefsson made the kick off in the second half. George Christoffersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Malmström, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Christer Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joacim Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Ek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Joacim Friberger made a huge save. When Mark Lind fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skebobruk's protests and gave Mark Lind a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Skebobruk got a freekick which was hit by Mark Lind. After a rather tough play, Skebobruk's Bo Albom got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes, Åsljunga IK's Jens Lindgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Christoffersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åsljunga IK reached it. Christer Ek succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 69th playminute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skebobruk's goalkeeper George Christoffersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Skebobruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Skebobruk's Kjell Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Kasper Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsljunga IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasper Malmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Christoffersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Åsljunga IK's Tobias Sandström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Christoffersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tobias Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
