Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vilhelm Alefors made the kick off which started today's match. If Jens-Erik Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Jonasson having to interfere. Jens-Erik Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex FC's Hubert Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Sigman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alex FC's Fabian Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alex FC's Jens-Erik Nyman in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ås FF's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hubert Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Jonasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bo Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Nyman in the 32nd minute of play. Alex FC's Hubert Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Erik Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Jonasson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ås FF's zone, Hubert Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Jonasson came out of the goal and Hubert Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Hubert Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bo Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ås FF's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Ekström came free, but Bo Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ås FF's Bo Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Ås FF from getting a goal against them. If Jens-Erik Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Hubert Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Ekström struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bo Jonasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alex FC. Ås FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alex FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ås FF's Vilhelm Alefors got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Hubert Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ås FF's goalkeeper Bo Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Erik Nyman. Ås FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hubert Ekström 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Hubert Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alex FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Erik Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bo Jonasson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Ekström in the 91st minute of play forced Ås FF's goalkeeper Bo Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Ekström in the 92nd minute of play. Olof Målare's late challenge caught a Ås FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Målare helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alex FC's Olof Målare got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Ås FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alex FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
