An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Vallin in the 5th minute of play forced Thunraz FC's goalkeeper Manfred Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, IFK Norrköping's goalkeeper Philip Palm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Viberg. A collision led to IFK Norrköping getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Helge Danielsson hit a great ball. Konrad Viberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Philip Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, IFK Norrköping's goalkeeper Philip Palm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Viberg. Thunraz FC's Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Viberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manfred Wållander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Helge Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Norrköping's protests and gave Helge Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Norrköping's Helge Danielsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Josef Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Lindberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josef Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Thunraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Viberg to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Konrad Viberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of IFK Norrköping's Philip Palm. Philip Palm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philip Palm made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Konrad Viberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Aleksander Vallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thunraz FC's Josef Lindberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Josef Lindberg off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Thunraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Aleksander Vallin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manfred Wållander. The goal made the score 1-1. Kurt Ekberg struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Manfred Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Norrköping. In the 59th play minute Sven-Olof Olsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manfred Wållander. 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Manfred Wållander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Kim Wennerquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Vallin in the 68th minute of the match. Konrad Viberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Viberg in the 75th minute of play. IFK Norrköping's Philip Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Viberg in the 90th minute of play. Erling Petersson, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The IFK Norrköping players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
