Åryd's Karl-Ove Klack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Åryd from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes, Mats Botvidsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åryd and the Thunraz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Thunraz FC booed when Åryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Thunraz FC's Herbert Nordström got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Manfred Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Åryd's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck came free, but Karl-Ove Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Thunraz FC booed when Åryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Adelsköld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Ove Klack acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Herbert Nordström.

After 53 minutes of play, Thunraz FC's Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Ove Klack was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Åryd's Rickard Henriksson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Åryd's Karl-Ove Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Malmberg in the 58th minute of play. When Örjan Adelsköld fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åryd's protests and gave Örjan Adelsköld a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Åryd getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Örjan Adelsköld hit a great ball. Manfred Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Hedbom in the 64th minute of the match. Karl-Ove Klack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Viberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Örjan Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Manfred Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Holger Hedbom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manfred Wållander, 2-1. Isaac Berglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Manfred Wållander made a huge save. Isaac Berglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Wållander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Isaac Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
