Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) 3 minutes into the match, Andreas Kinnman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pajala IK's Björn Bruhn. Björn Bruhn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Kinnman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Bruhn saved Pajala IK from getting behind. In the 11th minute Andreas Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pajala IK's Björn Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Kinnman in the 12th minute of play. Björn Bruhn came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sjösatorg's Per Sandberg. But to his dismay, Per Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala IK's zone, Andreas Kinnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Bruhn came out of the goal and Andreas Kinnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Ahlkvist got free with Per-Åke Arhenius in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Björn Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Sandberg in the 27th minute of play. Björn Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Pil in the 33rd minute of the match. If Christer Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pajala IK's Björn Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Kinnman in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Pajala IK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Herbert Boberg hit a great ball. Björn Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Kinnman in the 41st minute of the match. Andreas Kinnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Bruhn having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Per Sandberg put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Björn Bruhn. Andreas Kinnman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Boberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Andreas Kinnman made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pajala IK's goalkeeper Björn Bruhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Sandberg. Björn Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Björn Bruhn made a huge save. Per Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Kinnman in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pajala IK's Herbert Boberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. Per Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Björn Bruhn made a huge save. Andreas Kinnman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björn Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Kinnman in the 82nd minute of the match. Sjösatorg's Andreas Kinnman got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björn Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Kinnman in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Jan-Åke Sefastsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sjösatorg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
