Sjösatorg's Per-Åke Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Hellqvist in the 3rd minute of play. Edwin Hellqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Aron Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Lindkvist struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Per-Åke Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmberg City FC. Edwin Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Per-Åke Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Malmberg City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Lekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Malmberg City FC's goalkeeper Christian Nyberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Sandberg. If Per Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Åke Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Ahlroth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Nyberg. Malmberg City FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Andreas Kinnman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Nyberg. The goal made the score 1-0. Edwin Hellqvist hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Per-Åke Arhenius came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Malmberg City FC's Börje Hökqvist. But to his dismay, Börje Hökqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Per Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Lekberg made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Bengt-Åke Lindkvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Per-Åke Arhenius to make any attempt to save it. Malmberg City FC's Edwin Hellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Douglas Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Lekberg struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Per-Åke Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmberg City FC. Edwin Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Arhenius having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edwin Hellqvist in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Åke Arhenius saved Sjösatorg from getting behind. Peder Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malmberg City FC's Edwin Hellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Bergman might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Åke Arhenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Bergman ran back to his position shaking his head. Folke Lekberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Åke Arhenius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Sjösatorg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Folke Lekberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Per-Åke Arhenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Deckbergh in the 79th minute of the match. Edwin Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Per-Åke Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Åke Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Malmberg City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sjösatorg throughout the match.
