Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) VT if's Zebastian Odén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of VT if booed when Grisslehamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Zebastian Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VT if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zebastian Odén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Grisslehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Molin to maneuver through the defense. Grisslehamn's Rudolf Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Odén in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, VT if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. VT if's Urban Deckberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save VT if from getting a goal against them. Zebastian Odén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Urban Deckberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Haglund in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, VT if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Öberg to maneuver through the defense. When Alvar Kielberg came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Grisslehamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvar Kielberg couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Max Haglund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Urban Deckberg. Max Haglund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. VT if's Zebastian Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alvar Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Max Haglund made the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Björk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Wallin in the 54th minute. After 60 played minutes VT if got a freekick which was hit by Mats Wallin. VT if's Zebastian Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Grisslehamn's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Odén came free, but Rudolf Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Grisslehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Grisslehamn's goalkeeper Rudolf Björk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Wallin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Kielberg in the 80th minute of play forced VT if's goalkeeper Urban Deckberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Wallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grisslehamn's zone, Zebastian Odén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Björk came out of the goal and Zebastian Odén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grisslehamn's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
