Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Patric Lindström made the kick off and thus started the match. Täby IK were furious when Alvar Sandström was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Håkan Tingberg, was totally fooled by Sommen's Emil Helberg, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Sommen's Patric Lindström in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Täby IK's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Nordin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Håkan Tingberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Tor Åkerström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Håkan Tingberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Lindström in the 34th minute of play forced Täby IK's goalkeeper Håkan Tingberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Tingberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Lindström in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Täby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Patric Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Håkan Tingberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Jimmy Sjöman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Håkan Tingberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Dan Axelsson made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sommen's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Offendahl came free, but Arvid Kjellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Martin Nordin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Håkan Tingberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tor Åkerström fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sommen's protests and gave Tor Åkerström a yellow card for diving instead. Håkan Tingberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Sjöman in the 63rd minute of play. Dan Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Arvid Kjellman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Täby IK. Valter Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Kjellman having to interfere. If Dan Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Håkan Tingberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Lindström in the 83rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Ivan Bammerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Täby IK and the Sommen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sommen booed when Täby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Bammerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sommen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
