Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Christopher Bengtsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Sixten Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Sexdrega FF's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Boman came free, but Alf Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Boman in the 9th minute of play forced Sexdrega FF's goalkeeper Alf Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Rickard Drewitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernst Skoog was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christopher Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th match minute, Sexdrega FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Strömqvist to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Birger Boman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mjällom BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Boman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Åke Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Freddie Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Sexdrega FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Sundberg. In the 31st minute of the match Dennis Vennerström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernst Skoog showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Birger Boman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Walmarsson having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Rosen lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Alf Walmarsson. Christopher Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Walmarsson having to interfere. Christopher Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Alf Walmarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mjällom BF. After a defensive mix-up in Sexdrega FF's zone, Christopher Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Walmarsson came out of the goal and Christopher Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Mjällom BF booed when Sexdrega FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Strömqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mjällom BF's Hjalmar Rosen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddie Sjögren, made in the 57th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Sexdrega FF's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Boman came free, but Alf Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mjällom BF's Christopher Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Mjällom BF's Karl-Ove Högman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Ove Högman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mjällom BF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Ove Högman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mjällom BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Sexdrega FF's Dennis Vennerström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernst Skoog. Alf Walmarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birger Boman went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Ernst Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Drewitz in the 77th minute of play. Mjällom BF's Ernst Skoog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Mjällom BF from getting a goal against them. Ernst Skoog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Kristiansson in the 81st minute. Ronny Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alf Walmarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mjällom BF had played much better football throughout.
