With a little luck, Älandsbro BK's Christer Dahlberg got control of the ball when Ingvar Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Petter Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älandsbro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Västerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Christer Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älandsbro BK's goalkeeper Christer Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Elof Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Älandsbro BK's Petter Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Per-Arne Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
