Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tom Apelkvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Höviksnäs's Aron Ahlroht came free and shot a quick shot against goal 3 minutes in the game, fortunately Christer Dahlberg had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Per-Arne Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Älandsbro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Lindström couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Höviksnäs's Tom Apelkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christer Dahlberg. Christer Dahlberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alvin Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Lindström in the 18th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tom Apelkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christer Dahlberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Bruhn in the 28th minute of play forced Höviksnäs's goalkeeper Alvin Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Dahlberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hjalmar Clementsson. If Tom Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Höviksnäs's Aron Ahlroht got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tom Apelkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Christer Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Apelkvist in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Arne Lindström was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Aron Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höviksnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Ahlroht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Höviksnäs's Tom Apelkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Aron Ahlroht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Dahlberg was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, Tom Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Höviksnäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älandsbro BK the free kick. Älandsbro BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Ahlroht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Höviksnäs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Älandsbro BK for a fine match.
