The supporters of Gunnebo booed when Bergkvara FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Nicklas Sandell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunnebo and the Bergkvara FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Gunnebo got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Sandell. Christopher Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Bäck having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Elliott Bäcklin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christer Odén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Bergkvara FK defense, Kaj Beckman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Odén. The Bergkvara FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Odén should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliott Bäcklin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bergkvara FK's Christopher Nordin in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Bergkvara FK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stefan Wallin hit a great ball. Elliott Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Edgar Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Nordin struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Filip Bäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergkvara FK. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnebo's Krister Bogren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Odén. That made the score 0-6 after 85 minutes of play. When Elliott Bäcklin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gunnebo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliott Bäcklin couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Edgar Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergkvara FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunnebo the free kick. Edgar Karlsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Pontus Örtendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Bäck was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Christer Odén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bäcklin in the 98th minute of play. Christopher Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Bäck having to interfere. Gunnebo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
