Åderpålarnas IF's Magnus Bratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Bäcklin in the 17th minute of play. When Stig-Åke Lindholm fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åderpålarnas IF's protests and gave Stig-Åke Lindholm a yellow card for diving instead. Stig-Åke Lindholm hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Åderpålarnas IF's goalkeeper Magnus Bratt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åderpålarnas IF's Magnus Bratt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Åderpålarnas IF from getting a goal against them. Elliott Bäcklin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Magnus Bratt 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Elliott Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38th play minutes Elliott Bäcklin shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Magnus Bratt and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Åderpålarnas IF booed when Gunnebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Björnberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Gunnebo's goalkeeper Filip Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Olof Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Bäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

The wind increased when Kennet Lundström made the kick off in the second half. Elliott Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Kennet Lundström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filip Bäck came out and tried to block the shot, but Kennet Lundström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 59th minute. Kaj Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Magnus Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Gunnebo's Kaj Beckman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magnus Bratt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After some careless play in the Åderpålarnas IF defense, Elliott Bäcklin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magnus Bratt. The Åderpålarnas IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magnus Bratt should have stopped the shot. Kaj Beckman might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Bratt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Beckman ran back to his position shaking his head. Elliott Bäcklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Bratt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play.
