In the 5th minute of the match Tomas Gustavsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Bock skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Kilberg in the 7th minute of play forced Bro's goalkeeper Samuel Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bro's Samuel Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Kilberg in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Harry Wennerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Bock. Bro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Wennerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arne Blomberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Samuel Bock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Dan Stensson made a precise shot to the right of Roland Isaksson. Nösund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 31 minutes, Arne Blomberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nösund and the Bro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arne Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Samuel Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Kilberg in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Nösund got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Säfström. 40 minutes into the game, Bro's Sven-Edvin Barck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th minute, Harry Wennerström made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Bock. Bro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Ove Mossberg was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Wennerström in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Bro booed when Nösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nösund's Roland Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stensson in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Bro's Samuel Bock got control of the ball when Rutger Kilberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Blomberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Samuel Bock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Arne Blomberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nösund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Blomberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
