After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, William Kolberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallberga FF's supporters rose to their feet, but William Kolberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Klementsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vallberga FF booed when Manchester City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Skager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Edmund Klementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Claes Lind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester City FC's Edmund Klementsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Klementsson having to interfere. William Kolberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Edmund Klementsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If William Kolberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Manchester City FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Krister Skager hit a great ball. Aron Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Kolberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Edmund Klementsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Kolberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Galle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vallberga FF's Claes Lind got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Vallberga FF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sven-Arne Smefeldt hit a great ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester City FC's goalkeeper Edmund Klementsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, Vallberga FF's Claes Lind made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Klementsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claes Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Vallberga FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Manchester City FC's Tage Sandwall shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wasyl Damaski but with some difficulty. William Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Vallberga FF's William Kolberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Klementsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City FC's zone, William Kolberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Klementsson came out of the goal and William Kolberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, William Kolberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallberga FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Kolberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Manchester City FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Björk. Manchester City FC's Edmund Klementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Kolberg in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Spetz in the 92nd minute of play forced Vallberga FF's goalkeeper Wasyl Damaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vallberga FF's William Kolberg in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester City FC's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vallberga FF fully deserved thier win.
