After having played for 3 minutes, Knut Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugnvik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Tidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Jukitor Rangers's Ola Lundgren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ola Lundgren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jukitor Rangers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ola Lundgren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Jukitor Rangers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lugnvik IK:s goal. After 7 minutes of play, Lugnvik IK's Ralf Alkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otto Eriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Knut Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Knut Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Kenny Bollström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Eriksson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kenny Bollström scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otto Eriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pär Högström came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Jukitor Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Högström couldn't finish the play. Otto Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Tidén in the 37th minute of play. Kenny Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aaron Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Jukitor Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Söderberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lugnvik IK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bernt Kråk hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Tidén made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Pär Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otto Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Bollström in the 61st minute of the match. Gösta Lekberg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jukitor Rangers's Otto Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Jukitor Rangers from getting a goal against them. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Lugnvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Högström came free, but Alex Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
