Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Niclas Josefsson made the kick off and thus started the match. Karl Nordlander kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Axelsson in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Rosen saved Nossebro RK from getting behind. When Rudolf Axelsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the IFK Strömsund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Axelsson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nossebro RK's zone, Pontus Kilström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Rosen came out of the goal and Pontus Kilström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Erik Klintæus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Collin in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Nossebro RK's Olle Rosen got control of the ball when Pontus Kilström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudolf Axelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olle Rosen came out and tried to block the shot, but Rudolf Axelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Jens-Erik Klintæus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Niclas Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Klintæus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rudolf Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nossebro RK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paul Strömbom hit a great ball. Olle Rosen came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Strömsund's Pontus Kilström. But to his dismay, Pontus Kilström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Östen Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Josefsson's late challenge caught a IFK Strömsund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niclas Josefsson helped the player get up and apologised.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudolf Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Östen Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jens-Erik Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Josefsson in the 61st minute of play forced IFK Strömsund's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Klintæus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nossebro RK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Karl Nordlander hit a great ball. When IFK Strömsund's Pontus Kilström in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nossebro RK's goalie prevented a goal. Rudolf Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Olle Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Nossebro RK's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Lindholm came free, but Olle Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niclas Josefsson scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Erik Klintæus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Östen Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, IFK Strömsund's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Josefsson came free, but Jens-Erik Klintæus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jens-Erik Klintæus managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Nossebro RK's Östen Collin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rudolf Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Olle Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nossebro RK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Paul Strömbom hit a great ball. The supporters of IFK Strömsund booed when Nossebro RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball.
