Elliot Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klas Bocklund in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliot Blom saved Svenstavik from getting behind. The nice shot from Manfred Hedling in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Allan Tunström had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 12th minute, Carl Wennersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hellas's Klas Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Hedling got free with Allan Tunström in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Anselius during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hellas booed when Svenstavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kjell Vennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Hedling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Allan Tunström made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Svenstavik's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Bocklund came free, but Elliot Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Klas Bocklund sped through Svenstavik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elliot Blom. In the 41stth minute of the game Klas Bocklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svenstavik's Elliot Blom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henric Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Blom having to interfere. Klas Bocklund struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Elliot Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hellas. After 48 played minutes, Hellas's Tommy Snell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elliot Blom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hellas reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klas Bocklund made a kick off. Kjell Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Klas Bocklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Klas Bocklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Blom having to interfere. Manfred Hedling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Allan Tunström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Blom came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Hellas's Klas Bocklund. But to his dismay, Klas Bocklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Svenstavik getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gilbert Giliusson hit a great ball. Elliot Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klas Bocklund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Elliot Blom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Manfred Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Tunström having to interfere. Christoffer Christoffersson's late challenge caught a Svenstavik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. During the 84th minute of the match Helge Anselius completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Helge Anselius a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th minute, Helge Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hellas's Klas Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Klas Bocklund came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klas Bocklund couldn't finish the play. Hellas's Klas Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hellas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Svenstavik.
