Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kenny Lindblom took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Smiths's Kalle Häger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Sundberg in the 12th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Långviksmon's Kalle Häger threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Sundberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simon Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Gudmundsson having to interfere. Roland Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claes Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Långviksmon's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Lindblom came free, but Gilbert Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalle Häger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Smiths's zone, Claes Wenerdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Häger came out of the goal and Claes Wenerdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, The Smiths's Johnny Gustavsson got a free kick in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, Långviksmon's Kalle Häger threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Sundberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Roland Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Långviksmon's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Häger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Östlund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Claes Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Sundberg in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Häger saved The Smiths from getting behind. Alf Collin charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Collin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Smiths getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alf Collin hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Claes Wenerdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långviksmon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claes Wenerdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience was convinced that Roland Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Häger was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Börje Rudkvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Simon Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Gudmundsson having to interfere. Kalle Häger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Wenerdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The Smiths's Simon Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Lindblom in the 78th minute of play. Roland Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Kalle Häger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långviksmon. Claes Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Häger having to interfere. Claes Wenerdahl struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kalle Häger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långviksmon. Jan Östlund's late challenge caught a Långviksmon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Östlund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Smiths's Manfred Lidström got a free kick in the 97th minute. Dan Wikander might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalle Häger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Wikander ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
