After 26 minutes of play, Marsfjäll IK's Isaac Bäckström made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Bokelund was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Petersson in the 37th minute of play forced Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Kenny Benett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonardo Kling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Oscar Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Tord Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Kenny Benett. Marsfjäll IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Carlberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Bäckström in the 52nd minute of play forced Romano FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Leo Fogel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenny Benett. The goal made the score 4-3. Tord Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tord Petersson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Romano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Petersson couldn't finish the play. Isaac Bäckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sebastian Bokelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romano FC's Leo Fogel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Romano FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Kling. Sebastian Bokelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Carlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Benett having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Leo Fogel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Marsfjäll IK's zone, Tord Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Benett came out of the goal and Tord Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Fogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kenny Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Tord Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tord Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Marsfjäll IK booed when Romano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
