Yngve Wennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Bryngelsson having to interfere. When Greger Hård came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Holsljunga IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Hård couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Richard Emander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Gulliksson. Stockholm NV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Emander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Richard Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Axelsson in the 34th minute of play forced Holsljunga IF's goalkeeper Harry Bryngelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Holsljunga IF got a freekick which was hit by Uno Vall. Holsljunga IF's Harry Bryngelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Axelsson in the 41st minute of play. If Sven-Åke Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Yngve Wennerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sven-Åke Axelsson made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Gilbert Vestberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holsljunga IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm NV the free kick. Gilbert Vestberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Stockholm NV's Harry Bryngelsson threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Åke Axelsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Richard Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Gulliksson having to interfere. If Yngve Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Gulliksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Hård in the 68th minute of the match. If Sven-Åke Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stockholm NV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
