Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arvin Björklund took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Arvin Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FC Slangarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvin Björklund couldn't finish the play. Richard Telin made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when John Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. John Lindqvists short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Richard Telin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kurt Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Berglund having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Jimmy Kristiansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leif Berglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kurt Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Trosa's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Björklund came free, but Richard Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Sandberg in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Telin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmy Kristiansson to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Richard Wester sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Telin skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute John Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Telin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvin Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Telin having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Trosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Barck to maneuver through the defense. FC Slangarna's Daniel Backman suffered a concussion in the 71st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Johnny Strömberg was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72nd minute, Johnny Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, FC Slangarna's Torsten Lång shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Telin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Slangarna reached it. After a rather tough play, Trosa's Mark Barck got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Trosa's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Björklund came free, but Richard Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Kurt Sandberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jimmy Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvin Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Kurt Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Leif Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Leif Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trosa. Richard Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Lindqvist in the 97th minute of play. Kurt Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trosa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
