Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Birger Trillkott made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Stig-Åke Linquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desperados FC's Tor Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Tomas Gulliksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ove Söderqvist skillfully saved the ball. Peder Rudkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tor Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig-Åke Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peder Rudkvist struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tor Lindström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borås GIF. In the 17th match minute, Desperados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Desperados FC's Börje Pedersson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Söderqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 minutes, Gustaf Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desperados FC and the Borås GIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Gustaf Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Vibjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tor Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vibjörnsson in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Borås GIF booed when Desperados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Åke Linquist made a kick off. Stig-Åke Linquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tor Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Borås GIF got a freekick which was hit by Rune Öberg. Desperados FC's Tor Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Desperados FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Pedersson in the 64th minute of play forced Borås GIF's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Söderqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ove Söderqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Trillkott, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Borås GIF's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Trillkott came free, but Jens-Ove Söderqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desperados FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Stig-Åke Linquist scored to the left of an out of position Tor Lindström, making the score, 1-2. Peder Rudkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jens-Ove Söderqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Trillkott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Borås GIF's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Pedersson came free, but Jens-Ove Söderqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Linquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tor Lindström having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Sven-Ove Nyström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Borås GIF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Emanuel Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. Borås GIF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
