Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stig-Åke Linquist kicked off to start the match. Borås GIF's Jens-Ove Söderqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Vikström in the 6th minute of play. Zebastian Lekberg was a little too slow when Peder Rudkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Borås GIF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stig-Åke Linquist hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Kalvträsk IK's goalkeeper Zebastian Lekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Vibjörnsson. Zebastian Lekberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Vibjörnsson in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Stig-Åke Linquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kalvträsk IK booed when Borås GIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Linquist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Zebastian Lekberg 22 minutes into the match. When Peder Rudkvist came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Borås GIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Rudkvist couldn't finish the play. Stig-Åke Linquist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Zebastian Lekberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Borås GIF's Jens-Ove Söderqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Åström in the 33rd minute of play. Peder Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Lekberg having to interfere. Stig-Åke Linquist scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zebastian Lekberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Ove Söderqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Vikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Säv hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Christer Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Morgan Vikström took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ove Söderqvist. Jens-Ove Söderqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jens-Ove Söderqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Åström in the 57th minute of play. Jens-Ove Söderqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Zebastian Lekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Linquist in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Borås GIF got a corner. Kalvträsk IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peder Rudkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Peder Rudkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zebastian Lekberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Kalvträsk IK's Gabriel Bergman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Emanuel Vibjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Lekberg having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Peder Rudkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Zebastian Lekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Ove Söderqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Sjöström, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Kalvträsk IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borås GIF:s goal. After 103 played minutes, Kalvträsk IK's Arman Stenman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Ove Söderqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kalvträsk IK reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Borås GIF fully deserved thier win.
