Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ingvar Siggman got the match started through his kick off. Ingvar Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Siggman in the 9th minute of play forced Knivsta's goalkeeper Peter Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Ingvar Granqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Öxabäck's Joseph Nordal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ingvar Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Peter Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Källberg in the 28th minute of the match. With his leg Joseph Nordal managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Knivsta's Rune Drewitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Öxabäck's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Granqvist came free, but Joseph Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Öxabäck getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rune Dahlgren hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Öxabäck's Ingvar Siggman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Wållander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Knivsta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Rydelius to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Peter Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 50 played minutes Öxabäck got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Björkqvist. Joseph Nordal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Knivsta booed when Öxabäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Knivsta's Ingvar Granqvist in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Öxabäck's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Öxabäck's goalkeeper Joseph Nordal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Wållander made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Krister Källberg sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Knivsta's Christer Kling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Nordal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peter Wållander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Siggman's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Peter Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Siggman in the 77th minute of play. Paul Rydelius's late challenge caught a Öxabäck's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Rydelius helped the player get up and apologised. Paul Rydelius kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ingvar Siggman might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Wållander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Siggman ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ingvar Siggman came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Öxabäck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Siggman couldn't finish the play. Peter Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Siggman in the 93rd minute of play. Öxabäck were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
