Krister Källberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Kvalfält having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Michael Bjurström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RonaldoS Stjärnor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Öxabäck the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Siggman to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ingvar Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot.
