After a defensive mix-up in Öxabäck's zone, Patrik Asserlindh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Nordal came out of the goal and Patrik Asserlindh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Krister Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öxabäck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Källberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Ugla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Joseph Nordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krister Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingvar Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Ugla took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joseph Nordal. Joseph Nordal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Öxabäck's Joseph Nordal got control of the ball when Anders Ugla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anders Ugla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Joseph Nordal made a huge save. Joseph Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Asserlindh in the 30th minute of play. If Anders Ugla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Öxabäck's Joseph Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Asserlindh in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Asserlindh in the 35th minute of play forced Öxabäck's goalkeeper Joseph Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Sparta Sport & Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Källberg came free, but Aleksander Smedfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sparta Sport & Fotboll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tom Anselius in the 40th minute. When Patrik Asserlindh came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sparta Sport & Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Asserlindh couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Asserlindh in the 45th minute of play forced Öxabäck's goalkeeper Joseph Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Asserlindh was the one to do the kick off. Patrik Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Nordal having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Conny Kielstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparta Sport & Fotboll and the Öxabäck players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conny Kielstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Aleksander Smedfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Siggman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sparta Sport & Fotboll booed when Öxabäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Ugla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Nordal having to interfere. If Anders Ugla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Asserlindh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Asserlindh in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Nordal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Patrik Asserlindh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sparta Sport & Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 83rd minute of the match, Krister Källberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aleksander Smedfeldt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ingvar Siggman might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Smedfeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Siggman ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrik Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Nordal having to interfere. Patrik Asserlindh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Nordal having to make a save. In the 89th minute Anders Ugla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Nordal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Anders Ugla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sparta Sport & Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Ugla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Nordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krister Källberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Smedfeldt having to interfere. When Öxabäck's Ingvar Siggman in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sparta Sport & Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Öxabäck players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sparta Sport & Fotboll.
