Pontus Ahlgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Svärdsjö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Åkesson came free, but Herbert Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Georg Åkesson made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Larsfelt. Svärdsjö IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Georg Åkesson scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Larsfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Adelaide Kangaroos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. André Gerdberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Leonardo Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svärdsjö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Salkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Ahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Svärdsjö IF got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Salkvist. Herbert Larsfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Kling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Georg Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Adelaide Kangaroos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Åkesson couldn't finish the play. The Svärdsjö IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Adelaide Kangaroos were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georg Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pontus Ahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Ahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Bagge in the 64th minute of play. When Leonardo Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Svärdsjö IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Salkvist couldn't finish the play. Jesper Bagge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pontus Ahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Salkvist in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Adelaide Kangaroos got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Palmquist. Pontus Ahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Bagge in the 70th minute of play. If Georg Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Salkvist struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pontus Ahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svärdsjö IF. 85 minutes in the game, Paul Kling fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Herbert Larsfelt having to interfere. A collision led to Adelaide Kangaroos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Boris Johnsson hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Adelaide Kangaroos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
