Jimmie Harlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sivert Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Per-Olof Winström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Hubert Eliasson made the kick off in the second half. When Jim Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Hårbjörn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Lidström couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmköping IK's goalkeeper Jimmie Harlén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmie Harlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Lidström in the 58th minute of play. Andréas Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Harlén having to interfere. Jim Lidström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jim Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC Hårbjörn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Lidström couldn't finish the play. After 69 minutes, Jonatan Springfält mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmköping IK and the FC Hårbjörn players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Hårbjörn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
