Karl Ekeroth came out of the goal and Melker Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Säv, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th match minute, Söderhamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. Dick Åkesson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolf Hedlund. Söderhamn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Söderhamn getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Leif Bjursell hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Söderhamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Melker Björklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Melker Björklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Ekeroth having to make a save. After having played for 63 minutes, Ian Säv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söderhamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Säv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leif Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yelus Fc getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jim Vennersten hit a great ball. Melker Björklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Ekeroth came out and tried to block the shot, but Melker Björklund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 73rd minute. Karl Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Bolander went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 1-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Melker Björklund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Karl Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Säv went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Yelus Fc defense, Ian Säv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Ekeroth. The Yelus Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Ekeroth should have stopped the shot. Melker Björklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Ekeroth came out and tried to block the shot, but Melker Björklund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 96th minute.
