Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robin Västerstrand started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The long shot by Matthias Alegren in the 3rd minute really tested Manfred Almstedt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 8 minutes, Viggo Hammarbäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phantom and the Husby Rekarne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Viggo Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Husby Rekarne FC's Kalle Lang got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Husby Rekarne FC booed when Phantom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Målare didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Gunnarsson during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Husby Rekarne FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. David Gunnarsson hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Phantom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Karlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Robin Västerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Västerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Västerstrand during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Husby Rekarne FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Västerstrand. Ulf Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Ståhlman having to interfere. Phantom's Manfred Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Phantom from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Phantom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Husby Rekarne FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elliott Uggstedt hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Phantom got a freekick which was hit by Erland Brolin. Stig Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Robin Västerstrand from a close distance when the talented Manfred Almstedt managed to make a qualified save. Phantom's players were relieved. Robin Västerstrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Robin Västerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Lang in the 46th minute of play. Husby Rekarne FC's Robin Västerstrand came free and shot a quick shot against goal 47 minutes in the game, fortunately Manfred Almstedt had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes of play Phantom's Viggo Hammarbäck was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Phantom's zone, Kalle Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Almstedt came out of the goal and Kalle Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Örnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Örnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Bo Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfred Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Västerstrand in the 63rd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Robin Västerstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Manfred Almstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Almstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalle Lang's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Robin Västerstrand notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Phantom's Manfred Almstedt. Manfred Almstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 played minutes Phantom got a freekick which was hit by Stig Lindqvist. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phantom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elias Ekman was slow to take the kick. During this time Husby Rekarne FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Phantom's goalie and right to Robin Västerstrand. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Phantom's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Robin Västerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Västerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute Robin Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Husby Rekarne FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
