The Shurda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Aleberg should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Lucas Hedling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aron Aleberg, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Alfors in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Bohlin saved Mörberg FK from getting behind. Billy Bohlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Aron Aleberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Hedling's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 23 played minutes Shurda FC got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Strand. When Charles Möller fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörberg FK's protests and gave Charles Möller a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Charles Möller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mörberg FK's zone, Karl-Erik Hultstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Bohlin came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Hultstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulrik Kalfhage lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reine Alfors was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Mörberg FK's Billy Bohlin got control of the ball when Reine Alfors tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Karl-Erik Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Möller kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Niklas Klintæus's late challenge caught a Shurda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Klintæus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mörberg FK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Niklas Klintæus hit a great ball. Charles Möller kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Aron Aleberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Hedling in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Reine Alfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Reine Alfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Bohlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reine Alfors in the 84th minute. In the 86th match minute, Mörberg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Möller to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Hedling in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Aleberg saved Shurda FC from getting behind. With his leg Billy Bohlin managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Shurda FC's Reine Alfors fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 97 minutes into the match, Shurda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Hedling came free, but Aron Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shurda FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mörberg FK had won, even though Shurda FC had held more of the ball.
