In the 19th minute Otto Hultin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lägdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Murjek RK's Fredrik Axelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverker Lägdin. Sverker Lägdin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bengt Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sverker Lägdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bergby IK's Alexander Sundström suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Folke Kråk during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Murjek RK's Folke Kråk got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sverker Lägdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bengt Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sverker Lägdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Folke Kråk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Murjek RK's Fredrik Axelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Lägdin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 95 minutes into the match, Bergby IK's Tord Mogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olle Samuelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bergby IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Murjek RK.
