Christian Hedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urban Hårds short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Christian Hedin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Algot Böcklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game George Kjellman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Ferizaj's Christian Hedin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Christian Hedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urban Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filip Trulsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC STEN getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rutger Abrahamsson hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Urban Hård made a precise shot to the right of Christian Hedin. A.C. Ferizaj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of A.C. Ferizaj booed when FC STEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Svante Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Filip Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Ferizaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Böcklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Svante Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC STEN's Algot Böcklund got control of the ball when Svante Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Sjöström charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Sjöström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Algot Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Trulsson in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC STEN's Sten Vedholm got a free kick in the 65th minute. Torsten Stål hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Christian Hedin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Arvidsson, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 79th minute George Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Hård's late challenge caught a A.C. Ferizaj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urban Hård helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, FC STEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Hård to maneuver through the defense. If Urban Hård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC STEN's Urban Hård got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When George Kjellman came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC STEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Kjellman couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, George Kjellman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
