The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henric Wallin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Calle Billing sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Jan-Åke Pålsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Täman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jan-Åke Pålsson sped through Falköping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henric Wallin. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Viktor Kvalfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falköping's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Kvalfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilgot Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With his leg Vilgot Nordström managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Falköping's Viktor Kvalfält fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the game, Daniel Gunnarsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vilgot Nordström. Daniel Gunnarsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Falköping's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
