Alfons Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Åkerström in the 54th minute of play. If Sonny Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Haegg made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leif Göransson sent off a good shot on target. Leif Göransson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Haegg. Emanuel Haegg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Älmtamåla IF's goalkeeper Emanuel Haegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leif Göransson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Göransson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Haegg saved Älmtamåla IF from getting behind. Ingvar Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Haegg having to interfere. Jan-Åke Åkerström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfons Berggren having to make a save. Alfons Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The Älmtamåla IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Säljeröd FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Säljeröd FF.
